Central Valley Attorneys and Volunteers Launch Non-Partisan Election Protection Efforts in Fresno Co

Fresno, CA (October 20, 2020) – Cid & Macedo, Inc., a local Fresno law and advocacy firm, is leading efforts in Fresno County to protect the right to vote. Since 2011, Cid & Macedo has led and volunteered with leaders in doing non-partisan poll monitoring and troubleshooting voting problems at the polls. Their success over the years has linked grassroots experts with attorney volunteers.
In this upcoming election, Cid & Macedo is organizing another group of volunteers to help monitor polling sites in Fresno County. “We face heightened threats of voter suppression, intimidation, and public health risks to voting. Our team looks forward to ensuring that the most vulnerable in our community safely exercise their right to vote,” said Aida Macedo, partner at the firm.
