Pláticas: Two Latina Lawyers' Perspective on Losing a Legal Giant

On September 18th, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away. The world lost a legal giant. With her unwavering voice for justice, she transformed the possibilities available to future generations by chipping away at legal precedent that made it lawful to discriminate on the basis of gender. Her dissents inspired an entire generation of attorneys, like Amparo Cid and Aida Macedo, to continue the never ending work of pursuing justice for all.

During this webinar, we talk about the legacy of RBG, why she meant so much to us as Latina attorneys, and what gives us hope for the movement going forward. And, remember, "Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time."
